Confirmation, An explanation.
Confirmation is when anybody from Key Stage 2, secondary school or adult age chooses or is encouraged to make a public proclamation of their Christian faith. The Bishop, at a confirmation service lays his or her hands on candidates asking God to fill them with the Holy Spirit just as St. Paul did for Timothy, see 2 Timothy 1v 6.#
